CROXTON LANE/KING STREET JUNCTION 1947

The Roberts Collection
Something a little bit special for this September 12th, in the form of a painting by Albert Clarke of the junction of King Street and Croxton Lane, dated 1947. Apparently this was one of a series of pictures by Albert painted around the same time, several of which are known to have survived.
This one has been in the Roberts family for all those years.

  1. This is a painting by my grandfather. He painted so many and after he passed away in 1956 my grandmother filled the house with his paintings.
